Most ZetaBIM tools work straight away. A few need to know your office standards, for example the parameter names in your door or beam families. This guide explains the ZetaBIM Revit plugin settings and when to change them.

Click Settings on the Zeta BIM tab (Zeta BIM panel). Pick a page on the left. Settings are saved on your computer, so they stay when you update the plugin.
Tools that create files, such as Cloud Image, save them in an output folder:
Turn on Enable the settings panel to see a dialog each time you run Cross Section or Parallel Section. There you choose the offset and a view template. With the panel off, the tools run in one click.
Fit Structure sets the size of new beam and column types through their parameters.
| Page | Fields | Example |
|---|---|---|
| Beam | Width (parameter name), Height (parameter name) | Width, W, b and Height, H, h |
| Column | Width (parameter name), Depth (parameter name) | Width, W, b and Depth, D, d |
Fit Arch sizes doors and windows through their parameters.
| Page | Fields | Example |
|---|---|---|
| Door | Width (parameter name), Height (parameter name) | Width, Rough Width, W |
| Window | Width (parameter name), Height (parameter name) | Height, Rough Height, H |
If none of the names is found, the standard Revit Width and Height parameters are used.
