The Quick Profile Creator in ZetaBIM is a lightweight Revit plugin tool that helps you generate new profile families—especially for Curtain Wall Mullions, Railings, or custom geometry—in just a few clicks.

Instead of manually creating a profile family, assigning a category, and loading it back into your project, this tool simplifies the process directly within the Revit environment.

🛠️ How It Works

From the simple UI:

• 🔤 Profile Name: Enter a name for your new profile.
• 📂 Type Category: Choose the target Revit category (e.g., Curtain Wall Mullions).
• ➕ New Type (Toggle):
  • When ON → creates a new type inside an existing profile family (if it already exists).
  • When OFF → uses default settings.
• 🧹 Delete Detail Line (Toggle):
  • When ON → deletes the source detail line(s) after generating the profile.
  • Helps keep your workspace clean.

After setup, hit CREATE and you’re done.
